Pop Up Sauna, Hot & Cold (Contrast Therapy) Session with initial guided breathwork

  • Elephant Rooms South Street Derby, England, DE72 3PP United Kingdom (map)

Come along to Wellbeing Watersheds pop up sauna and cold pod event. This session involves breath-work and contrast therapy. Participants will be guided through the use of a sauna and the related health benefits to physical and mental well-being.

Led by Scott Clayton the founder of the amazing charity www.bluetonic.org.uk, for every person attending a donation of £5 will be made to the charity. The sessions will be limited to just four people to every time slot.

Participants will learn about not only the benefits of using the sauna but also the amplified benefits of suddenly shifting the body from hot to cold. Cold water pods will be on hand for people to take the cold plunge before reentering the Sauna.

The session will start with a welcome introduction and some simple breath work will be included to help relax the mind and body. This will be covered for the first half hour, then sauna and cold pod use will follow for the next hour.

Science has shown the benefits of these combined activities are wide and varied. If you come along you will reap these benefits leaving relaxed, rejuvenated and revitalized and ready to explore continued use of contrast therapy in the future.
