Would you like to try a silent retreat but don’t know where to start? Maybe you’d like to try a guided meditation, or do some gentle yoga? Perhaps you’d just like a day where you can concentrate on you, physically and emotionally, without having to juggle other things.
On Saturday 23rd November, Fran from QiTransitions will be leading 5 different sessions for you to explore. The aim is to help you recharge your batteries in preparation for the Christmas season.
10.00 – 11.00 There’ll be a gentle yoga class, suitable for absolute beginners, giving us a gentle introduction to the day.
11.15 – 12.00. Come and try some breathwork, focussing on releasing tension in the body.
12.15 – 1.00 We’ll round off the morning with a guided meditation bringing peace into our being.
Lunch time (Lunch not provided).
1.45 – 2.45 We’ll start the afternoon with a silent walk across the fields. When you’re concentrating on nature around you, rather than conversation, the walk is quite different, and it really frees you up to enjoy where you are. If the weather is poor, then we’ll be making a skin scrub and doing self-massage instead.
3.00 – 4.30 Rounding off the day, we’ll have a music meditation with healing. Whilst lying or sitting, we work with music to release any lingering heaviness and internal toxins, allowing us to let go and clear from our bodies and energy.
Throughout the day, you are welcome to just tuck yourself away with a cuppa in the garden or kitchen and just be with yourself quietly instead of attending every session.
£10 per session, or £40 for the whole day.
Please note, mobile phones will need to be switched off for the whole day,
however Fran can be used as an emergency contact if need be.
