Come and join Jo Fleming of Willow Moon Jewellery for a traditional silversmithing workshop at The Elephant Rooms in Draycott. We will be creating a set of three narrow stacking rings, one to be set with a semi-precious cabochon.

You will be introduced to traditional silversmithing techniques, including measuring, annealing, sawing, hammering, soldering and texturing. Once your rings are finished, you will be shown how to solder on a sterling silver bezel cup and set a semi-precious cabochon stone.

This workshop is a great introduction to the traditional methods of creating silver jewellery, the tools used, plus lots of techniques and tips. It is suitable for beginners and intermediate levels. At the end of the workshop you will have created a beautiful set of rings to take home with you, all handmade and unique to you.

Full day: 10.00am to 4pm

£75 per person, including sterling silver, semi-precious stone & use of tools

Tea, coffee and refreshments will be available throughout the session, but you will need to bring your own lunch.
