“Tai Chi Basics & Introduction to Yang-Style 8-Step Form”
Have you ever wondered how people move so gracefully whilst practising Tai Chi? The key is to learn the basic movements to allow a smooth shift of body weight and seamless transition from one posture to the next, which is the focus of this workshop. Suitable for beginners to Tai Chi, this half-day workshop is an excellent introduction, learning the key movements whilst also understanding the history and health benefits of Tai Chi. This workshop also provides the foundation of Tai Chi before joining my weekly classes. For improvers of Tai Chi, it never hurts to revisit the basics, and this workshop provides that opportunity to deepen your practice!
Our 2024 Tai Chi workshops form a series that is suitable for novices starting with the basics, learning – step by step - the 8-step Tai Chi form, and then deepening their understanding and practice of Tai Chi with the introduction of Tai Chi principles. Whilst the workshops are designed to work as a series of three, building upon the previous workshop(s), you have the option of choosing one or more of the workshops, depending on your previous experience.
This Tai Chi half-day workshop is priced at £28, or if you wish to book all three workshops in the Tai Chi series, it is £75 to book the triple.
