During the practice we will explore & embrace the season of Summer & celebrate all of it's wonderful qualities.
In the Chinese system Summer is the time of the Fire Element, this is the most yang of all of the elements. It is represented by the Heart & Small Intestine & is all about putting into fruition the plans we made in Spring. When the Fire Element is balanced within us, it allows us to be friendly, open hearted & to be relaxed in our communications.
During the session we will explore both what it means to have Fire in our elemental "stack" & how to become more "fire" if we need a bit of yang energy. We will do this with the aid of Yoga Asana (postures), pranayama (breath work) & meditation.
Hopefully this will allow us to see where our opportunities are to grow & develop during this time.
