This workshop will have a specific focus on hope, and the ability to be hopeful.
Hope is more of a trait than an emotion & this enables us to “tap’ into other traits/emotions such as optimism, faith & resilience. For some of us, it will be easier to access these emotions than for others, however we can develop/improve our ability with practice.
Over time we may find that we can access more positive feelings than negative ones which are always beneficial to our wellbeing. Yoga reinforces all of these concepts in its teachings & gives us the tools to navigate challenging times. This seems all the more relevant with everything that is going on in the World right now, it can be so easy to feel hopeless so accessing these teachings is such a powerful gift.
During the session we will explore all of these themes using Asana, Meditation & Pranayama with the aim of feeling much more in control of our emotions by the end.
Please note the session will not be suitable for complete beginners.
